(hereinafter referred to as 800-TAX REFUND) understands the importance of protecting the privacy of your information, as well as respecting the privacy of your browsing activities. We have never used third party advertising companies to provide advertisements on our web sites, nor have we ever allowed third party advertisers to track your browsing activities on our web sites. We have never used information we collect from practitioners, financial institutions, or individual taxpayers for the sale of any product or service other than those tax-related products and services of 800-TAX REFUND's.

800-TAX REFUND is the sole owner and operator of the ProTaxNet web site. The ProTaxNet web site obtains contact information voluntarily submitted by tax practitioners and financial institution officials (hereinafter referred to as Registrants) for the sole purpose of extending 800-TAX REFUND's online tax preparation and electronic tax filing services to prospective customers referred by Registrants. As of this writing, Registrants are currently unable to delete their contact information submitted to the ProTaxNet web site. Should the Registrant wish to have his or her contact information deleted from the ProTaxNet web site, please request so via email, and 800-TAX REFUND shall delete Registrant's contact information within one business day of said written request.

Registrant contact information, other than the Registrant's ProTaxNet UserID and Login Password, is displayed on a web page that does not reside on a web server, but instead is created dynamically upon request to the web server from you or your customer's web browser via a hyperlink or web site URL address that uniquely pertains to the Registrant's contact information. 800-TAX REFUND will not provide Registrant's unique ProTaxNet hyperlink or web site URL address to any individual or company without Registrant's permission.

800-TAX REFUND gathers browsing activity information from prospective online filing users referred to ProTaxNet by tax practitioners and financial institutions (hereinafter referred to as Referring Agents), specifically for the sole purpose of tracking the referral from the Referring Agent's unique ProTaxNet URL to the CCH Inc. online filing site. 800-TAX REFUND does not obtain contact information from prospective online filing users referred to ProTaxNet; however, limited personal information may be voluntarily submitted to 800-TAX REFUND by users of the CCH Inc. online filing site should those users allow it. Furthermore, 800-TAX REFUND has no access to the online filing user's tax return information unless the user provides his or her login Username and Password to 800-TAX REFUND. Such access to the online filing user's tax return information is strictly limited to only those employees of 800-TAX REFUND who have a specific business purpose for using it. Our employees are trained on the importance of maintaining confidentiality and taxpayer privacy. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with all applicable requirements of the Internal Revenue Code and leading industry practices.
